I know it’s been more than a year that the series has been cancelled, but still I miss the series and keep hoping that they will renew the series. But to no use. I have also heard that they are planning to make a movie out of it. So far so good, and I am also excited about the movie, but that will take a long time. What should we till then? Well, do what I am doing. Watch the episode recaps, as we are left with very little options, besides that.

Yesterday night I was doing the same thing and after I saw two episodes at a go, I did a Google search, to find out more about the series. And, guess what I found. Well, I never knew it and I thought that I should share it with you guys; at least all Veronica fans should know this one. Okay, now I will stop running around the bush and tell you what I found. Did you guys know that Rob Thomas, the creator of the show, originally intended to write Veronica Mars as a novel for a publishing house? Before he got his first television job on Dawson’s Creek he wanted to write novels. He even sold two novel ideas. But after he started writing for film and television, he forgot about his detective project, which for many years was kept under covers and later came out as a television series. The series is almost similar to that of what he had in mind with the novel except for the fact that novel had a male protagonist and the series had a female protagonist. Thomas changed the gender of the protagonist because he thought a noir piece told from a female point of view would be more interesting and unique. Rob also wanted to use a lot of flashbacks in the novel, which he did on screen and that created lot of interest in the series.

Well, I hope this information was of some use for all Veronica Mars Fans. I personally feel that information like that makes you feel even more attached with things, especially if they are close to you.

So you want to know what’s latest with ‘Veronica Mars‘. They are planning to make a movie on the series. What do you think? Is it a good idea to make a movie on this TV series? Well you know what I am double minded regarding this. I definitely want to watch some more of the series and I don’t mind watching the movie too. But the only reason I am in dilemma is that, whenever, anyone, makes a movie after the success of a TV show, it generally doesn’t work.

These days everyone is doing that. A number of movies have come up after the TV shows. Desperate Housewives, The X-Files: I don’t want to Believe, Sex and the City, just to name a few, are in the list. But, none of the movies have been well received by the audiences. They were all of the view that the series were better than the movies.

So, today when I read that, Michael Ausiello, has revealed that Kristen Bell and creator Rob Thomas have talked about doing a Veronica Mars movie. I was not very happy with the news. The first thing that came to my mind was that will they be able to do justice to the series. I am a fan of the series and I do not want that the creators should experiment with the good image of the series. If they are interested in doing something, why don’t they come up with another season of the series? I guess that it is better idea and they can please, the fans with another heart throbbing season of the series. What do you think?

Now more than a year has past of Veronica Mars‘ cancellation for the new seasons. It was an average show, not very good and not very bad even, but still I had a good time watching it. Especially, the third season. When I came to this site and saw Veronica Mars on the blog roll, I feel tempted to watch it again. So now I am watching this show since four weekends and finally reached the third season. Third season is pretty happening in comparison to the previous two seasons.

In the previous seasons Veronica was busy in investigating into her friend’s murder and she was not doing anything else except making speculations and meeting various people to gather information. But in this season she seems a bit relieved after solving the mystery of her friend’s killing. In this season she is preparing to do something constructive. She decides to become a detective and asks her father to join her with him in his office. She gets many interesting cases to solve. But the writers again stretched one issue up to lot many episodes and that was of Serial rapist.

She carries on finding clues about the rapist but ends up with having a horrible encounter with him. So you can say she doesn’t solve the case instead, the rapist approaches her himself. In ‘Spit and eggs’ episode she finds the identity of the culprit.

I liked this season because she is not moving on just one track. She has much different kind of cases to solve in each episode. Most of the episodes are interesting and entertaining. In one episode she goes through the exam to become a professional detective. So at last we came know that Veronica’s ever curious nature helped her to become a detective and she had the qualities in her blood.

Finally the season ended up with the episode ‘The Bitch is back’. The review is already on this page so I won’t make any effort. This site is the great way to enjoy TV shows, even when it is raining outside and you can’t go to DVD store.

Today I was waiting for my friend at my place. We had a plan to go for some sight seeing. As she took very long so meanwhile I was checking out TV shows on internet. So I chosen Veronica Mars and downloaded it from edogo. Actually there are many shows are on television, but I am fond of the old ones, which are currently off screen.

That gives me a different kind of fun. I am always interested in old TV shows as well as movies. So I downloaded the second season today, where veronica stays in touch with a biker gang and is investigating the murder of one biker as well is solving mystery of a bus accident.

When Veronica’s seasons were on air, I had very tight schedule due to my job so never got time to watch the show. But I had heard from friends that it’s a good show. When I saw Veronica, I was thinking that where else I’ve seen this girl. After a day I was watching NBC Heroes and there I saw this girl.

I didn’t know that she has also worked with Veronica Mars. She looks about similar to her looks in Veronica, but I wonder in Veronica she was playing a teenage girl and in heroes she’s a professional along with the superpower. I think her extremely young look suits in a teenage role only, and she appears little odd to me in the role of Elle in Heroes.Then my friend arrived finally and found me watching Veronica. She asked which season I said second and she said, thank God you haven’t watched the third as it had been a pure wastage of time. She told me that after season three the show got cancelled and there was nothing special in season three, because Veronica was busy with dating different guys through out the season instead of investigation on something. I wonder how the show creators changed the basic concept of the show in the third season. I must say then the show deserved to be cancelled.

So, Veronica Mars/ Kristen Bell fans, wanna know about her first love…

Actually, Kristen recently confessed that her first crush was on Detroit Red Wings player Chris Osgood. Here is the hunk….

Here, I’d like to appraise her for her bravery to let everyone know who was in her mind. But now, she has grown out of her crush and is dating Dax Shepard, her co-star in the upcoming movie (here you need to worry about). Look what she says about her love and attraction towards Chris “There was actually a day in high school when I wrote on a name tag ‘Mrs. Osgood’ and wore it the whole day. I really thought we were perfect for each other. I’d love to meet him - and probably apologize that things never worked out”.

So, who’s made for her? Dax or Chris. Both are okay, but I think Dax would be feeling secure as he’s the present whereas Chris is her past. I am pretty sure that if things don’t work with Dax, then Chris would never mind to meet her once. What says? Chris……

The Bitch is back, an episode which was 3^rd season’s finale of Veronica Mars series was aired on May 22, 2007. I am a great fan of series and of Kristen Bell. Of course Man! She is gorgeous and her performance in the series is superb. First two seasons of the series were best rated seasons but season 3 was not that popular. Let’s not deviate from the topic and read the review of season’s finale:

This episode dealt with all of the fallout from the Veronica/Piz sex tape going around Hearst - however, Veronica said they didn’t have actual sex. Logan made Veronica aware about the video of her and Piz having sex.

Veronica said that it was impossible as she and Piz never had sex. Logan blames Piz and held him responsible for the tape. Veronica got angry with Logan and said that Piz could never do that. Veronica watched the tape unwillingly and discovered the involvement of ‘The Castle’ in the tape ( in case you don’t know, The Castle is a secret society at Hearst).

The campus was filled with gossips and smirks which made Veronica’s life very difficult. There was blast from the past on this episode when Veronica faced Lily Kane. Jack Kane and Clarence Weidman also made their return to the show.

And as the title indicates ‘The Bitch is Back’. The greatest scene was final scene where Logan’s learnt who was behind the tape and attacked Gorya. Gorya told Logan he was going to die, and Logan replied, with a smile, “Yeah, some day.” Veronica watched Logan beating Gorya and smiled perhaps she was saying “Good bye, we’ll be back”.

I am already missing Veronica Mars. Hope creators of the show plan for another season or some episodes. Well, there is not much possibility of it but there are rumors that Veronica Mars movie is on the cards. Kristen Bell aka Veronica Mars herself says that Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas is one who can decide for the upcoming movie version. She said, “”He would have to make the decision to start that. But one thing I do know is I’m not ashamed or embarrassed to talk about it [...] in case it never happens.” Meanwhile you can watch earlier episodes of veronica mars for free.

April 22nd is a special day for the fans of Francis Capra and each one of his fans would like to wish a very Happy Birth day to their favorite Veronica Mars star. Francis turns 25 tomorrow.

Francis Capra belongs to a family which deals in entertainment business. Frank Capra III, his father is an assistant director to various movies. His grandpa, Frank Capra Jr. is the president of Screen Gems in Wilmington. Francis has appeared in movies including Kazaam with Shaquille O’Neal and is best knows for his role on Veronica Mars on which he’s playing Eli ‘Weevil’ Navarro.

Many people, including me, watch this show only to see this cool dude. Friday Night Lights is also one of my favorite shows as he is part of this show as well. And you know I’ve decided to celebrate his birthday by downloading the complete seasons of Veronica Mars and I will spend entire day with Francis Capra. Join the party guys.
