But then, as soon as the markets faced a downfall, the bank did away with the entire payment and this is where the producer felt he was led down by the bank.

On the other hand, the bank filed a counter-suit against Joel, which simply tags all his allegations as implausible and absurd.

Now, the actor has been recruited as one of the casts in the TV series, Ringer. This new series with New York in its backdrop will have Jason play the character of Mr. Carpenter, a teacher to Juliet, the stepdaughter of Siobhan Martin, a Manhattan socialite.

Having proved his mettle with high-caliber performances in Veronica Mars, the actor was the perfect choice to perform alongside actress Lea Thompson’s daughter, Zoey Deutch who is debuting with the role of Juliet, and Nestor Carbonell as an FBI agent, Victor Machado.

Ringer revolves around the lives of two sisters, Bridget and Siobhan. One of them is a recovering alcoholic, who, after witnessing a murder, escapes to the other’s house only to see her disappear one fine day.

The most interesting part and the real challenge for Jason is acting alongside Sarah Michelle Gellar, who plays a double role for the lead characters of Bridget and Siobhan.
